As we mark May Day — International Workers' and Labourers' Day — we renew our commitment as cultural workers to continue our struggle.

Dear Cultural Workers,
Today is a day on which we celebrate the struggle waged for the rights of workers and labourers: May Day — International Workers' and Labourers' Day! On this meaningful occasion, we as Kültür Emekçileri Sendikası share in the joy of coming together and celebrating as one.
As cultural workers, we always feel the power of art and culture. Each of us, in our own fields, contributes to society through our labour and creative energy. Yet this light grows dim without a fair working environment and the protection of our rights. This is why we regard May 1st not merely as a celebration, but as a day of struggle as well.
Today, we stand together as a generation that carries the legacy of past struggles and looks toward the future with hope. We will not abandon the fight for the rights of workers and labourers, and we will never step back from solidarity — because we know that as long as we struggle together, we can protect what we have gained and achieve something better.
