Our Union
Kültür Emek-Sen (Cultural Workers' Union) was founded in 2019 to defend the rights of workers in cultural and arts institutions.
Acting with fully independent, democratic class unionism, Kültür Emek-Sen is the collective voice of artists, technicians, and culture institution workers.
Our union represents all workers at State Theatres, State Opera and Ballet, the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, and other public cultural institutions — providing support on collective bargaining, legal advice, and organising.
With no organic ties to any political party, government body, or employer organisation, our union acts solely in the interests of its members.
