Court Case Regarding Performance Evaluation of Contract Artists Concluded

The Council of State (Danıştay) announced its ruling on the legal dimension of the performance evaluation system applied to contract artists working at cultural and arts institutions.

In the case brought by our union's legal unit, the Council of State examined the administration's proceedings, drawing attention to the vagueness of the performance evaluation criteria and the arbitrariness in their application.

The ruling is of precedent-setting significance in terms of preventing the arbitrary dismissal of contract artists on performance grounds. Our union welcomes this decision and will continue its legal struggle in similar cases of rights violations.
