Contract Artists: Enough Is Enough — We Call on You to Keep Your Word

Contract artists voiced that despite years of promises, they have not been granted permanent positions, and called on officials to keep their word.
Artists employed on a contract basis at state cultural and arts institutions expressed their frustration over the lack of concrete action despite years of promises regarding permanent positions.
"Enough is enough. We have been promised things for years, but none of them have been kept. Are you not listening to us?" said the artists, once again calling on officials to honour the commitments made.
As the Cultural Workers' Union, we support this legitimate call from contract artists and emphasise that the necessary arrangements for transitioning to permanent positions must be implemented without further delay.
