Dear Friends, We are delighted and excited to present this guide to you. As Kültür Emekçileri Sendikası, driven by our belief in the power of art and the importance of artists, we strive to protect and support artists' rights. For us, art is not merely a profession — it is also a passion. Yet we do not overlook the difficulties encountered in pursuing that passion.
This guide brings together a significant portion of the legislation relevant to our artists and technical personnel employed on permanent and contractual terms at the Directorate General of Devlet Opera ve Balesi, the Directorate General of Devlet Tiyatroları, and the Directorate General of Fine Arts. Our aim is to do everything in our power to ensure that the rights afforded to artists by law are better understood and applied.
This guide was prepared for you and is also available on our website. We are here so that you may know your rights, protect them, and move forward with greater strength. You are the artists who are the light of society, the reflection of the spirit, and the bearers of culture.
