Last Monday of March is celebrated as Library Week
With the aim of encouraging citizens to become more familiar with libraries and to make greater use of them, the week beginning on the last Monday of March is celebrated as Library Week in our country.
Library Week celebrations, which began in 1964, feature conferences, symposia, panels, and seminars on library and librarianship topics held nationwide, exhibitions showcasing new publications are held, educational and cultural films and slideshows are screened, and various discussions and competitions related to libraries and books are organized.
