The Imposition of a 'Representative' at State Theatres

Allegations have emerged that management at State Theatres has subjected union members to various pressures and has interfered in the process of electing representatives.

The Cultural Workers' Union is continuing its preparations to evaluate the applications it has received from its members on this matter and to take the necessary legal steps.

Any interference or pressure directed at the right to trade union organisation constitutes a criminal offence under the relevant legal regulations. We invite our members to report to the union any pressure of any kind that they encounter.
