8 March International Working Women's Day

Even as women workers face ever-growing challenges, we resolutely continue our struggle against sexism, oppression, and injustice in every domain.
Dear Women Workers,
As we mark 8 March International Working Women's Day, celebrated around the world, we strengthen — with great pride and hope — our struggle for equality, freedom, and justice. Today is a turning point at which we raise our voices more forcefully for women's rights and take further steps toward ensuring justice and equality.
Even as women workers face ever-growing challenges, we resolutely continue our struggle against sexism, oppression, and injustice in every domain. In the workplace, on the street, at home — we stand shoulder to shoulder with our colleagues who confront the bitter realities of harassment (mobbing), abuse, bullying, and violence. Yet we know that this struggle has no expiry date; with each passing day, more solidarity, more action, and more determination are needed.
We continue to fight for women workers' right to own their labour, to advance in working life on equal and free terms, and for justice and equality in the natural processes of life such as pregnancy, maternity, and childcare. We reiterate once again the necessity of steps such as bringing nursery services and support in the public sector up to humane standards, expanding positive discrimination for women, and removing the barriers to merit-based promotion.
In this context, we will intensify our stance against problems such as harassment (mobbing) and fight with determination. We will raise our voices at every moment and every hour in defence of working women's right to life.
Today, we must unite to end gender discrimination in the workplace and to recognise the value of women's labour. For together, we are strong and determined to build a more just and equal world.
Long live our women! Come, let us continue the struggle for a better world, shoulder to shoulder.
