Our Collective Bargaining Demands for 2024–2025

As the Culture Workers' Union, we share with the public our demands for the 2024–2025 collective bargaining round:

1. Transfer of contracted artists to permanent staff positions 2. Wage increases that secure a dignified life for all culture and arts employees 3. Improvement of supplementary pay indicators (ek gösterge) 4. Abolition of the performance evaluation system 5. Full payment of outstanding across-the-board (seyyanen) raise entitlements 6. Legal guarantees for artists' additional-duty payments 7. Transfer of 4B-status employees to permanent positions 8. Recognition of the arduous-service supplement (actual service time credit) for culture workers 9. Nursery and childcare support 10. Increases in transport and meal allowances 11. Shift pay for those working late at night 12. Longer annual leave entitlements 13. Practical facilitation for union representatives 14. Full participation of union representatives in collective bargaining 15. Stronger mechanisms against mobbing and psychological violence 16. Adaptation of occupational health and safety standards to art institutions 17. Improvement of retirement pensions 18. Expansion of disability rights 19. Extension of the foreign-language allowance to employees in the culture field 20. Legal protection of copyright in works of art 21. Increased employment in culture and the arts 22. A larger share for culture and the arts in the Ministry's budget
