Our Collective Bargaining Demands for 2024–2025

As the Cultural Workers' Union, we are sharing with the public our demands for the 2024–2025 collective bargaining period:

1. Conversion of contracted artists to permanent civil servant status 2. A wage increase that ensures a dignified standard of living for all cultural and arts workers 3. Improvement of supplementary index figures 4. Abolition of the performance evaluation system 5. Full payment of across-the-board wage increases 6. Guarantee through legislative regulation of supplementary duty pay for artistic personnel 7. Conversion of workers under the 4B status to permanent positions 8. Recognition of seniority allowance (actual service period bonus) for cultural workers 9. Childcare and child support assistance 10. Increase in transportation and meal allowances 11. On-call pay for employees working late at night 12. Extension of annual leave entitlements 13. Provision of working facilities for union representatives 14. Full participation of union representatives in collective bargaining negotiations 15. Strengthening of mechanisms to combat mobbing and psychological violence 16. Adaptation of occupational health and safety standards to arts institutions 17. Improvement of retirement pensions 18. Expansion of disability and accessibility rights 19. Inclusion of cultural sector workers in foreign language allowances 20. Guarantee of copyright protections for artistic works 21. Increase in employment in the culture and arts sector 22. Increase in the share of the Ministry's budget allocated to culture and arts
